Tiresome individuals
Warning, this is a rant. Of course there is much on social media these days concerning political propaganda, refugee issues, and tourists/people being stupid about wild animals. We all have opinions. That is what offers good healthy debate on a variety of issues. An exchange of ideas, a healthy debate, is always a good thing. But lately on various forms of social media there is less and less respectable exchanges. Rather exchanges are rapidly falling to disrespect, name calling and rudeness. An example is I've been drawn into three discussions this week. One involving a video clip of young children who are refugees discussing why they wish to leave their countries. There are also positings along with this of images of the stark reality that is what these children call home. Bombed out buildings, rubble everywhere, bombs and gunfire are the daily norms.
